3D Projection Mapping on graffiti - Interstices in a Synaptic Space

 

Interstices in a synaptic space focuses on the human brain. Dynamic images are projected on a static drawing. With light, darkness and colours abstract compositions are being build up and torn down again. The base remains constant though. The work is a metaphor for the functioning of the brain. The gray matter does not change much in form and structure, but accommodates complex processes: shreds of thoughts, forged into ideas or pushed into the background. With optical illusions and delusive sound Afterlight leads the public into an animated adventure through the cracking vaults of our brain.
