GRAFFITI MAPPING - EDC LAS VEGAS 2019 - GOLDEN, URBANRUBEN & INFCT - PLUR VIBES

Cancer took away the most important person in his life; his mother. And having only known her for 7 years of his childhood, Md Nur Huda Firdaus Bin Jamil felt it was more than right to honour her with his Augmented Reality Graffiti Mural called: 'Affection' as his final year graduation project. When he was young, his family moved houses a lot and because of that he only has a handful of her pictures in his photo family album. Even so, he says he still remembers her beautiful face and the calmness she had, which is something he treasures dearly – his big idea and inspiration behind his project comes from wanting to create a portrait that can come to life and also as a way to feel closer to his mother again. For Md Nur Huda Firdaus, it was his mother's bravery battling cancer that led him to believe in himself, his passion for creativity and to pursue being an active artist. He's been mastering his technique of painting large portraits using spray cans and wall paint for as long as 7 years producing murals.
