Projection mapping the 100' elephant - ILLUMINARIES + HONFOTO

 

The Illuminaries teamed up with Sam Hon / HonFoto to project matching animated sequences over the 100 foot mural during the mural unveiling in 2017 in Downtown Oakland. This mural by @illuminaries in downtown Oakland is 100 feet tall. It was put up by Tim Hon, Steve Ha, and Romali Luciden in 2017. We used two 120 foot lifts and 300+ cans of spray paint. Video and Edit by Sam Hon. Street art and graffiti has come a long way. We never could've dreamed we would get this opportunity to travel and paint all over the country. We were just some kids obsessed with spray cans who decided to become experts at our craft. Our passion is to uplift public space and inspire others to follow suit.
